Keep the plan.

Qwen helps identify room labels and finish codes from drawing text and images. Your reviewed scale and traced geometry drive the quantities. The free demo below uses synthetic dimensions.
- 01
Bring in the drawings
Upload floor plans, finish schedules, and wall details as private PDFs. The Qwen reader queues up to the first 10 pages automatically; every proposed room and finish remains review-required.
- 02
Review the measurements
Review Qwen’s proposed room names and flooring or wall finish codes against the cited page. Calibrate with two known dimensions, trace boundaries, and verify heights and openings. Missing information stays on HOLD.
- 03
Organize the finish quantities
Calculate quantities on the server from saved, reviewed geometry. Export separate flooring and wall finish quantities, an audit JSON, or a printable report.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
A few
good questions.
What does Virtual Estimator do?
Virtual Estimator is an online workspace for commercial flooring and wall finish takeoff only. Qwen proposes room names and finish codes from uploaded pages. Review those suggestions, calibrate the page, trace finish areas or wall paths, and calculate quantities from saved geometry. A free synthetic demo and moderated contractor feedback remain available here.
Does it measure a plan automatically?
Qwen assists with reading room names and finish codes from PDF text and page images. Its suggestions can be incomplete or mistaken and need your review. You calibrate two known dimensions and trace the boundaries; Qwen does not approve scale, geometry, wall heights, openings, or quantities. Missing or conflicting information stays on HOLD.
Will this preview charge me?
No real charges are enabled. The signed-in workspace creates an account-linked Stripe TEST subscription with 7 days free, then $20 USD/month in the sandbox. Use synthetic details and Stripe test payment information. Access is verified on the server; it stops when the subscription or trial ends. No Mac license is issued.
When can I download the Mac app?
The online version is the priority. Any later Mac download remains on hold until a subscription installer is signed, notarized, and fully tested on a supported Mac. Apple membership approval alone does not complete those steps. No desktop release date is promised.
Does this use Qwen online or need a download?
Customers use the browser without installing Qwen. The pilot’s private Qwen worker runs on SteadyForth’s Mac and pulls queued drawing pages over an authenticated connection. Reading pauses while that worker is offline. Up to 10 page analyses per account per day are available; larger PDFs need selected-page review. Qwen helps read labels and codes; reviewed tracing supplies the quantities.
Can I upload my project here?
Yes, in the signed-in online workspace with an active TEST trial or subscription. PDFs are stored privately and are available only to their project owner through authenticated routes. Review the privacy notice and use plans you are authorized to process. Maximum PDF size is 10 MB. The sample demo below does not upload files.
Is Windows supported?
The online workspace runs in a modern desktop browser on Mac or Windows without an installer. Use a mouse or trackpad for precise plan tracing. No Windows installer is offered; the later Mac download remains unavailable.
