Drawing
With this option selected and the reader enabled, new uploads automatically queue up to 10 pages for schedule extraction or Qwen-assisted label suggestions on a private SteadyForth Mac. Reading waits while that Mac is offline. Temporary worker copies are removed after processing; your source PDF remains in your private project. All labels need review and do not determine quantities.

Extracted page text Review room names and finish codes
Text extraction can omit or misread scanned drawings and special fonts. Confirm names and finish codes against the drawing; nothing is assigned automatically.

Rooms and finish codes
The reader extracts printed finish schedules directly and uses Qwen for other page-label suggestions. Coverage shows the detected and parsed schedule rows. Review every room and code against its page and evidence. Reading does not create or approve geometry, scale, wall heights, or quantities.

AI labels are unreviewed suggestions. Use a room or code only after checking it. Finish names and code mappings still need your confirmation; unknown codes stay unresolved.
Saved measurements
Trace a floor polygon or wall finish path to add a measurement.
Finish takeoff
Save and calculate to group reviewed quantities by flooring and wall finish. Unresolved items remain HOLD; they are never treated as zero.
Exports contain source filenames, pages, reviewed calibration, and quantities. No cost estimate, labor, material waste, or professional certification is included.
