Privacy and your project data

What the service receives

The public sample demo calculates synthetic room quantities in your browser. It does not upload the demo dimensions or create a subscription.

The signed-in workspace receives your ChatGPT-verified Site identity and account information needed for sign-in. It stores your project names, uploaded PDFs and their file names and hashes, calibration references, traced geometry, room names, finish assignments, review decisions, reading results and source evidence. Site checklists can also contain measurements, scope decisions, notes, room labels and photographs you choose to upload.

Use only plans and photos you have permission to process. Keep unnecessary personal information, faces, credentials, protected customer information and unrelated sensitive records out of uploads and notes.

Where the data goes

The site runs on Sites hosting backed by Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare D1 holds project and account records; private R2 storage holds source PDFs, reviewed report files and uploaded photos. Server routes check the signed-in owner for access. The operator and its service providers process this data to run, secure and support the service; private storage does not mean that it is encrypted against the operator.

For queued plan reading, a dedicated worker on SteadyForth’s Mac downloads the source PDF over an authenticated connection and processes the selected page. It extracts supported printed finish schedules or uses the installed local Qwen model for room and finish-label suggestions. It returns review-required results and page evidence to your private project. Plan content is not sent to an external AI-model provider or used by this pilot to train a model.

Temporary source and rendered page files are removed after successful processing or handled failures. The worker keeps bounded operational status and sanitized failure diagnostics without document text or extracted labels. An unexpected device or process failure can require operator cleanup; this is not a guarantee of immediate removal under every failure.

Phone photos are resized and converted to JPEG in your browser before upload. The original phone file is unchanged. Saved copies, room tags and checklist tags are private project records. Photos support your measurement review; they do not automatically supply missing dimensions or approve quantities.

Sign-in, billing and ordinary connection information

ChatGPT/Sites provides sign-in. Stripe hosts TEST checkout and processes the test billing details entered there under its own policies. Virtual Estimator stores Stripe customer, checkout and subscription identifiers, its original-trial ledger and billing-operation records; this application does not collect or store card numbers. Project plans and photos are not added to Stripe billing metadata.

Hosting, sign-in and payment providers may process connection, security and authentication information under their own practices. This notice does not promise that provider logs or authentication cookies are absent, or that the operator controls their retention. No advertising or third-party analytics integration is configured in the current application.

Contractor comments and reviews

The feedback form stores the display name, company, feedback type, rating, message and publication choice you submit. Name and company are optional; the form does not collect an email address or plan attachments. Approved feedback is public only if you separately consented to publication. You can request that a published comment be removed from public view.

For abuse control, the application hashes the request IP address into an hourly rate-limit bucket. It does not store the raw IP in that table. Buckets older than 24 hours are removed when a subsequent submission runs cleanup; feedback submissions themselves do not automatically expire. Hosting providers may separately process ordinary connection information.

Retention, removal and your saved work

Saved project data, source PDFs, reading results, reviewed reports, field measurements and photos are retained during the pilot, including after subscription cancellation or expiry, until removal is requested and handled. No automatic project-deletion schedule is configured. Feedback, account identifiers and the original-trial ledger also remain stored; cancellation alone does not remove them.

There is currently no self-service project or account deletion button. Contact SteadyForth LLC to request access assistance, correction, deletion of project files or photos, feedback removal, or account-data review. Provide your project name or ID and the requested scope, but do not email passwords, payment details or confidential drawings. We keep plans until the customer requests deletion, then verify ownership and arrange the requested deletion. Email support responds within two business days: Monday through Friday in the America/New_York time zone. That response commitment is not a promise that complete deletion finishes within two days.

Project deletion is separate from billing and accounting records: necessary subscription, payment and original-trial records may be retained for accounting, access control and fraud prevention. Provider records, operational copies and recovery copies require separate handling; no fixed backup-erasure deadline or immediate complete-erasure guarantee is promised. Discuss special retention requirements with SteadyForth before uploading sensitive material.

Reading and exporting after access ends

Owned saved projects, source PDFs, reading suggestions, saved field measurements/photos and existing report summaries remain readable when TEST subscription access ends. New uploads, reading jobs, edits, quantity calculations and quantity CSV/JSON exports require current verified access. Subscription cancellation does not delete your saved work. Export the quantities you need while access is active and keep your own original drawings.
