STEADYFORTH LLC / ONLINE TEST PILOT

Online TEST pilot terms

This Virtual Estimator pilot from SteadyForth LLC uses TEST billing; no real charges are enabled. The owner-selected launch policies below are prepared for the future paid subscription.

Updated October 21, 2026 · Version ve-online-test-2026-10-21

The current service

Virtual Estimator supports commercial flooring and wall-finish quantity takeoff, with separately reviewed base quantities where supported. The current workflow produces quantities only: it does not add prices, labor or waste, and it does not represent a complete general-contractor estimate or architectural design service.

The public sample is a synthetic browser demo. The private workspace needs ChatGPT sign-in and verified account-linked TEST subscription access. The later Mac app is separate and unavailable for customer download.

Measurement and finish review are required

Room names and finish codes from printed schedule extraction or Qwen are suggestions. They can be incomplete or incorrect. Review them against the cited source sheet, confirm the current drawing revision and scope, calibrate the relevant view, trace the geometry, and verify wall heights, openings, deductions and product assignments before relying on quantities.

A scaled drawing and source dimensions take priority. Written square footage or a reviewed 3 ft single-door / 6 ft double-door assumption may be used only where no reviewed scaled drawing is available for that view, with its source and limits made explicit. Door-based results remain estimates. Do not add overlapping or alternative measurements of the same work.

Missing, conflicting or unreviewed information stays on HOLD; an unresolved item is not a measured zero. Flooring SF, wall-finish SF and base LF stay separate. Independently check the quantities and site conditions before using a result for a bid, purchase or installation. Photos do not establish dimensions by themselves.

Seven days free, then $20 USD monthly — TEST mode only

The current account-linked Stripe offer is one seven-day free TEST trial, followed by a $20 USD monthly TEST subscription that renews until canceled. Use synthetic details and official Stripe test payment information. No real charges are enabled.

The original trial is recorded once per online account. Resubscribing, reinstalling or restarting checkout does not grant another trial. A returning account that has used its trial is shown the monthly TEST subscription without a new free period. A checkout return page does not unlock the workspace: the server verifies the owned subscription and applicable trial or payment evidence.

Canceling and the end of access

Use “Cancel future renewals” in the workspace subscription panel to stop renewal. Cancel before the displayed trial end to avoid conversion; for a paid period, cancellation preserves access through the verified period end. The panel shows the current provider-confirmed dates and cancellation status. If cancellation cannot be confirmed, refresh the status and contact support rather than assuming that a request succeeded.

When access ends, new uploads, edits, reading jobs, quantity calculations and quantity exports stop. Owned saved project details, PDFs, reading suggestions, field notes/photos and saved report summaries remain readable. Cancellation does not delete records, settle an outstanding invoice or erase a balance. Provider failure or an unverifiable, expired, unpaid, past-due, refunded or disputed state can pause processing without deleting saved work.

Pilot limits and availability

Initial account limits are 20 projects, 50 PDFs and 100 MiB total PDF storage, with 10 MiB per PDF. Plan reading allows 10 new page-reading records per account per UTC day, 10 pages queued or processing at once, and 500 saved page-reading records total per account, including failed and historical records. Waiting for another day or for the queue to finish does not reset the 500-record limit. Contact SteadyForth for saved-reading and storage review if that limit is reached; this does not promise a deletion or limit increase.

When reading is enabled, the app requests up to the first 10 pages automatically, subject to those account limits. Larger sets require selected-page review; a completed reading does not prove complete drawing coverage.

Site photos are limited to 4 MiB per stored image and 50 photos / 100 MiB per account. Browser-readable images are converted before upload; unsupported phone formats may need a JPEG, PNG or WebP copy. Use a mouse or trackpad in a modern desktop browser for precise plan tracing. Phone access is useful for field measurements and photos.

The private plan reader runs on SteadyForth’s Mac. Reading can queue or pause while that Mac, model or connection is unavailable; manual takeoff review remains a separate workflow. Email support responds within two business days, meaning Monday through Friday in the America/New_York time zone. The response commitment does not guarantee a resolution deadline or service uptime. Keep original files and your own exported records; saved project storage is not a substitute for your own backup.

Authorized files and account protection

Upload only material you are authorized to use and process. Do not submit credentials, payment-card details or unrelated confidential records. Protect your sign-in account and check the privacy notice before sharing customer drawings or site photos. SteadyForth does not need your password or a verification code for routine support.

Future subscription and first-charge refunds

The owner-selected support, plan-retention and first-charge refund policies are launch drafts prepared for the future paid subscription. The current pilot stays in TEST mode, with no real charges. You will see the applicable price, renewal and payment terms before any live subscription is offered.

For the future live subscription, SteadyForth offers a refund if you request it within seven calendar days of your first monthly charge. Email Tj@steadyforthllc.com with the account or invoice reference so support can verify the first charge and request date and process the refund. Refunds are requested and handled by support, not issued automatically. This offer covers the first monthly charge; it does not promise refunds for later renewals. It does not limit any applicable customer rights. No real TEST charges are made.
